Dowsing and Spirit Lines

Natalie and myself were lucky enough to have been given a lesson in
dowsing yesterday by well-known Perthshire dowser, David Cowan. We met
up in Weem kirkyard to try dowsing for spirit lines from some of the
graves there.

David has decades of experience in the field. One
of his theories concerns the ill-health and problems people experience
due to the effect of these spirit lines.
Basically each grave
emits an anti-clockwise spiralling energy which then stretches out and
traverses to the deceased person's bed(or other place where they spent
a lot of time) or to the nearest bed it can find. David calls this
energy 'black energy'. David has been called out to help many people
who been having paranormal problems at home which he felt were related
to this black energy. Problems have included such things as disease and
incubus/succubus attacks. In most cases David has found spirit lines
ending at the person's bed in a black spiral. If on the area where the
abdomen is then the person would be suffering from an abdominal
complaint etc. Quartz crystals placed at each corner of the bed deflect
these lines and allow the person to recover. Other problems can cause
black spirals eg being hexed.

David's experiences have shown
him that these lines come from graves and the energy diminishes over
time until the body is completely disintegrated. Animal graves have the
same effect as do buried ashes. Living people too emit a trail which
can be followed and he is able to follow the route of a selected
individual (it helps to have a piece of that person in you pocket, eg
hair or nail clippings).

The black spiral as it leaves the
grave will travel towards the gates of the cemtery. Iron railings
contain it, however, and it can't pass through. If the gates are open
it is free to wander off. David placed a quartz crystal on the grave to
show us how the line was deflected away from the entrance (Nat and
myself had a go at dowsing and could feel it).

David says that
the energy that comes from the graves is only part of the human spirit
which he believes is made up of several different types of spirit. The
black spiral is the most base and more of an animal instinct. There is
no thought or conscience attached to it. The spirit of your mother, for
example, could in theory travel back to your bed and cause you
harm/ill-health when of course your mother would never wish you any
harm at all. Similarly your own ill health or problems with a certain
chakra will leave balck energy in your bed.

David's advice is to
check out where you are living. Being next to a cemetery is not a good
idea nor to live on the site of an old hospital! Old burial grounds
often had counter measures in place which would trap these spirit lines
and 'dump' the energy back in the earth - ring marked cup stones. Wells
and manholes also do the job.

This was a very interesting
experience and I was surprised at how strong the energy was. Both
myself and Nat found it no problem with the rod (David uses one diving
rod). We look forward to meeting David again and for any input he can
give with our investigations.
